Vijay's 'Mersal' must be the most discussed topic for past few weeks as the controversies around the movie are damn high! The Producers who promoted the movie extensively were flying high as the movie is a moneyspinner at the Box-Office.
There were even reports all over that the movie has grossed more than 200 Crores Worldwide. But, now in a shocking twist to the tale, Distributor Abirami Ramanathan claimed there is no proof to authenticate these collections and he also added the producer inflates the collection to create a hype and bring the audience to the theaters.
He also added that no producer can claim the collections until the end of its theatrical run. He claimed that it is just a gimmick from the Producer to pull the audience into the theater. Well, what he said sounds legit as we can see some of the trade analysts are saying 'Mad Rush' and 'Huge Pressure' when theaters are running empty and online booking status shows 'Green' everywhere!
