2013 saw the film debut of model kriti sanon with Superstar mahesh babu starrer One Nenokkadine, directed by creative maker Sukumar, and the movie had won her good reviews for her act but had become a commercial disaster, and her next, Dohchay was also a flop.
She then entered bollywood with SRK starrer Dilwale, paired with varun dhawan, and with that too becoming a flop, scored a success with bareilly ki barfi by ashwini Iyer Tiwari, co-starring ayushmann khurrana and post the success she was flooded with offers.
Right now she works for an untitled Marathi movie and she never had any notable movies under her belt. But now, she has bagged one bigger and better. The actress will be acting under vishal Bharadwaj's direction and the movie is yet to be titled. Sadly, now the movie is shelved and the actress is unhappy. The team has decided to pause the movie temporarily due to the current situation. Meanwhile, kriti sanon is also planning to sign some movies in south indian cinema and recently, there are reports that she was approached by tamil director atlee at Mumbai.
