Dhanush's next release will be 'Karnan'. The movie is directed by Mari Selvaraj who earlier directed the famous 'Pariyerum Perumal' movie. It is funded by kalaipuli S. Thanu under his v creations banner. The movie features jai Kiran, yogi Babu, Don, Anitha Abdul, and priya -Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>lakshmi priya Chandramouli in supporting roles. This movie also marks the tamil debut of Rajisha Vijayan. 


Santosh Narayanan has composed music for this movie. The movie has a strong technical team comprising Theni Eswar for cinematography and Seva R.K for editing. The plot is influenced by the Manjolai riots of 1999. The movie is mostly set in the suburbs of the tirunelveli district. The movie will release next friday and today the Censor works for the movie have been completed. 


The teaser of the movie already got a huge response and the songs are huge chartbusters. Veteran actor Lal also entered the movie during the shooting. The satellite rights were sold to Zee tamil and the wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital streaming rights were sold to amazon Prime Video. The producer of the movie is super confident about this movie and it is one of the biggest ventures post-pandemic situation. Karthi's 'Sulthan' which released today was one among the biggies.
