Veteran comedy Actor vivek passed away early morning today at SIMS Hospital in Chennai. He was 59 years old. The padma shri awardee actor was admitted to the intensive care unit of SIMS hospital in Vadapalani after he suffered from a heart attack. The actor has fainted after expressing discomfort and his family admitted him to the SIMS hospital in Vadapalani.

He was brought to the hospital in an unconscious state. He underwent an emergency coronary angiogram followed by angioplasty. He was on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) in the intensive care unit of the hospital. He took the COVID vaccine the day before his heart attack. He took the vaccine at a government hospital instead of a private hospital to spread awareness.

Actor vikram who celebrates his 60th birthday today has paid a visit to Vive's residence at Virugambakkam and paid his last respect to the actor. Actor vivek has been a very good friend for actor vikram and the combination movies have been a huge success.  'Dhool', 'Dhill', 'Anniyan' are some of the movies where this combo entertained millions of fans. The entire film fraternity are now paying their last respects.
