Dhanush's 'Karnan' got released on the 9th of april and it was the last movie to release before the pandemic. The movie opened to good reviews and lots of movie buffs are showering praises for the movie. The movie was directed by Mari Selvaraj who earlier directed 'Pariyerum Perumal'. Rajisha Vijayan made her debut in kollywood with this venture.

'Kandaa Vara Solunga' song, in particular, was a huge hit.
