In the winter of 1931, Mike Sullivan a Hitman flees along with this child after his wife snd younger child is murdered by his boss. How he makes them pay for the death of his wife and child is the remainder of the movie. tom Hanks is that kind of character who eventually makes you pray that only good things should happen for him in the movie either knowingly or unknowingly. 

I have seen only a handful of his performances in the past but to me, this is my most favorite character played by him. It was an altogether new avatar tom sported for his role in this movie which I fell in love with in the very first instant when he was shown. This is definitely sam Mendes's masterpiece effort and it is obvious in every single frame right from the movie starts.

Belated Birthday sam Mendes as he celebrated his birthday on the 1st of August, and thank you for creating a never seen before character for tom Hanks. This movie is an absolute masterful art piece and this can never be recreated once again by any maker and no other actor other than tom Hanks can do justice to such an incredible role. In case, you never watched it, try to watch this on a perfect weekend as Road to Perdition is definitely a not-to-be-missed flick.
