Melvin, an actor, was detained for drug use by authorities. Do you recall the Nigerian actor and actress Chekwume Malvin? Who starred in the movie Singam-2 featuring surya as the hero was caught red-handed transporting narcotics in real life by the Bangalore police.


The accused was found with a huge quantity of narcotics. These are estimated to be worth approx  Rs. 15 Lakhs. police confiscated 15 gms of MDMA, 250 ml of hash oil, and also cellphones. Melvin went into the drug business, according to police, because he couldn't find work at the films during the Corona lockdown.



The police, on the other hand, are looking into whether Melvin has any ties to the film business. Melvin has appeared in Kannada, Tamil, as well as hindi films. Malvin's arrest happened one day after four individuals were apprehended with narcotics in Bengaluru, including two Iranian nationals. The suspects were apprehended in possession of narcotics worth Rs 1 crore. On sunday afternoon, city police responded to a tip regarding the suspects and stopped their car. Two of the accused, both Iranians, were remaining in india even after their visas expired. Further investigations are still underway.
