Thaman has continued to stay humble despite his raise in the position in the industry and has refused to call himself a hero.
Thaman is one of the top music directors in Tollywood. It’s fair to say he has pipped his competitor devi sri prasad lately with multiple hits back to back. It’s as if the directors want to have Thaman in the movie irrespective of who the hero is. Such is the market of Thaman which has been growing exponentially over the past few years.
However, he doesn’ take the success to his head and has opened up about the same. He said “We call a film complete when all the crafts compliment each other. It wouldn’t be a good film if one department dominates the other.” He was attributed to the humongous success of akhanda lately however Thaman has refused to accept it and has said that I am not the hero, I’m just a part of it.
Thaman has numerous projects in his kitty. He was recently roped in to compose BGM for Radhe Shyam. He is also in talks to compose music for kollywood actor Vijay’s next film “Thalapathy66” which is to be directed by Vamshi Paidipelly.
