Exactly two months ago, the whole tollywood industry was busy requesting ticket price increases in order to ensure the industry's long-term viability. But they have no idea what will happen as a result of the hiked ticket prices, which have caused audiences to prefer to stay at home rather than go to the movies. Another stroke occurred, prompting Allu Arvind to recognise the error and take fast action.

When films (excluding rrr and KGF2) fail to draw crowds to theatres, distributors and exhibitors realise they made a mistake by raising ticket prices, producers show their foresight by selling the films to OTT platforms well in advance, with a two-week release gap. While the producers made money, they soon realised that releasing a picture on OTT just 20-30 days after its theatrical premiere is effectively hurting the theatre sector. And none other than Allu Arvind has acknowledged that he has realised that these two points are incorrect.

"We've realised how rising ticket prices and releasing films on OTT platforms in a short time from the release date will influence the industry," Allu Arvind stated today, implying these two things. As a result, many recently released films have reached a new agreement with OTTs, and ticket prices will not be raised." The producer intimated that his upcoming film, Maruthi and Gopichand's Pakka Commercial, will also adhere to the new rules.

Allu Arvind is said to have played a key role in ensuring that the whole telugu film industry adheres to these two principles. F3, Major, Vikram, and other forthcoming films have only been released at regular ticket prices and will not be available on OTT until 60 days after their initial release date.
