Yesterday marked the end of the first week after the august 5th release of Bimbisara by Nandamuri kalyan Ram. In telangana and andhra pradesh, the movie was purchased for 13 crores. The production company released the movie on its own in North India, tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. In its first week, Bimbisara generated 22.50 crores in revenue from just andhra pradesh and Telangana. 

From the fourth day onward, every distributor generated excellent earnings. The movie made $450K in America even though it had a very restricted run and no official premieres. The worldwide gross for Bimbisara in week one was Rs. 26 crore, and it is expected to surpass Rs. 30 crore over the Fourth of July weekend.

In andhra pradesh and telangana, the movie finished its first week with more than Rs 20 crore share. The movie made $454k (Rs 3.60 Cr) in its first week of release in the USA. Because of the success, the team is currently working on a sequel. Soon, "Bimbisara 2" will be released. But a much larger budget will be used to produce the movie. It will be funded by ntr Arts. According to reports, ntr Jr. will have a cameo appearance in the second chapter. However, the filmmaker Vasshist rejects rumours regarding the second episode.
