Saidapet court was investigating the case. But actor dhanush approached the madras high court against this. According to the No Smoking Act of 2003, only advertisements for smoking products have to say so. It's not a tobacco ad, it's a movie. dhanush argued that this should not be shown in the film. Accepting Dhanush's defense, the court dismissed the case.
