Bollywood actor naseeruddin shah has been ruling the industry for four decades. He has won everyone’s hearts

with his brilliant acting. naseeruddin shah has done many great films in his career. The actor had shared many

stories related to his life in his book And Then One Day. naseeruddin shah had told in his book that his friend

Jaspal had stabbed him in the back. After which om puri came forward to help him and took him to the hospital.

Naseeruddin Shah had told in his book that during the shooting of the film bhumika in 1977, he had gone for

dinner with Om Puri. After that his friend Jaspal came to the restaurant. Naseeruddin's relationship with Jaspal

was not going well.

Knife in the back - naseeruddin shah has told that we both ignored each other but his eyes were fixed on me. It

seemed to me that he was leaving behind me to sit at the other table. After some time I felt some small sharp

object on my back. As soon as I started getting up slowly, I could only move a little, Om with a muffled scream

pounced towards something behind me. I saw that Jaspal had a small knife in his hand, blood was dripping from

its tip, his hand was raised to attack again and Om and two other people were trying to control him.

Om puri saved his life - naseeruddin shah further told that Om returned and told me that Jaspal has been taken

to the kitchen. He wanted to take me to the doctor, but the restaurant staff refused to let us leave until the police

arrived. When the ambulance arrived, Om made the big mistake of boarding it without permission and managed

to harass the boss-man, who then asked the police to be lenient with me. He was ordered to disembark but after

much pleading he was allowed to stay. None of us had any idea where we were going but I prayed that it was not

the police station.
