Gautham Vasudev menon has got a court judgment requiring him to refund money to the film's producer, All In Pictures, for a film that never materialized. Furthermore, dhruva Natchathiram is experiencing financial difficulties because the film's satellite and wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital rights, which are worth crores, have yet to be purchased, harming the film's pre-release revenue. The court ruling received today has split the director over the release of dhruva Natchathiram. The director must adhere to the criteria if his film is to be released within the time frame specified.

Furthermore, the picture has been in the works since 2016, and its release date is expected after being stuck in production hell till now. Though the filmmaker has said that the film's time gap has no effect on the watching experience or narrative, the recurring delay in the picture may cause the viewer to lose interest.
