Lahari Shari was working as a journalist for a major news station when a 'fortunate accident' led to her modest but significant role in the hugely successful telugu film 'Arjun Reddy'. The film's popularity paved the way for a number of new and greater acting possibilities. In a relatively short period of time, Lahiri has appeared in a large number of projects in various South indian film industries.
In this interview, she discusses her path in the entertainment industry thus far, plans for the second season of 'Night Drive With Lahari', acting in hindi films, speculations of appearing on 'Bigg Boss 5 Telugu', and more.
What was your life goal?

I had studied journalism and was particularly interested in news journalism. I had always wanted to be a journalist. After 'Arjun Reddy' was launched, I began receiving several acting opportunities and eventually became a full-time actor.
You are not just a successful actor, but also a well-known anchor. On your conversation programme 'Night Drive with Lahari', you've interviewed over 100 celebs?

Yes, the show's premise contributed significantly to its popularity. The show's idea was 'Drive, Dine, and Wine'. We had planned a limited number of episodes for the programme, and no one on the crew anticipated it to be so popular.  We'll start work on the second season soon.
