Pawan Kalyan's attempt to balance politics and cinema proved to be difficult, and both his political obligations and his film endeavours suffered as a result. His preference for giving one priority over the other has put his directors and producers in a difficult position. Pawan has taken a protracted break from his film pursuits in anticipation of the forthcoming assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh, which has left three of his highly awaited films in limbo: "Hari Hara Veera Mallu," "Ustaad Bhagat Singh," and "OG."

Due to his absence from the sets, these films, which were originally scheduled to be completed in 2023, have been indefinitely delayed. Pawan has not indicated when he would begin work on these projects, therefore the directors have been forced to look for other opportunities. Pawan's comeback for "Hari Hara Veera Mallu" was eagerly anticipated by Krishh, who has decided to proceed with a new project with Anushka. Years of his career were lost as he waited for Pawan.

The directors of "Ustaad Bhagat Singh" and "OG," harish shankar and Sujeeth, have also made the decision to go on to new endeavours, indicating their departure from the halted enterprises. While sujeeth is preparing for a movie with Nani, harish shankar has begun filming M. Bachchan with ravi Teja.
