After much anticipation, prithviraj Sukumaran's Aadujeevitham, also known as The Goat Life, has finally debuted on huge screens. The movie, which is based on a true tale, has won praise from critics across for its powerful and realistic narrative. Actor R. madhavan added his appreciation for the film to the avalanche of positive comments on X (formerly Twitter) following his viewing of the Blessy flick. In important parts in the malayalam film Aadujeevitham are prithviraj Sukumaran, amala Paul, jimmy Jean Louis, Leena, and others. Blessy, the film's director, adapted Benyamin's award-winning novel "Goat Days" for the screen.

The movie tells the actual story of Najeeb, a guy from kerala who makes his living by herding goats and gets stranded in the Gulf. The central plot point of this heartbreaking story is Najeeb's trip as he frantically looks for methods to leave the desert and return to his family.

It has not been simple to adapt Aadujeevitham for the big screen. The movie has been in production for more than ten years, and there have been several roadblocks. During the Covid-19 shutdown, the whole Aadujeevitham cast and crew was also momentarily stranded in Jordan. In spite of all the odds, the movie has now received a major theatrical distribution.
