Munawar Faruqui: Injection worth 25 thousand, only 700 rupees in the pocket; Munawar did not have money for their son's treatment


Munawar Faruqui: Stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui recently shared about his son's struggle with a rare disease. He told how he arranged money for the treatment of his son.


'Bigg Boss 17' fame and stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui recently shared the emotional story of his son's fight with 'Kawasaki' disease. Munawar said that his son was just one and a half years old when he was diagnosed with this disease. Recalling his difficult time, the comedian shared that he did not have money for the treatment of his son. His son needed an injection, which cost 25 thousand rupees and he had only 700 rupees in his pocket.

Munawar told during a conversation on Janice Sequeira's YouTube channel that he was in shock for a long time after knowing this. Describing that moment, he said, "I was completely shocked and it was a tough moment for me." With no other way, he had to borrow money from others. "I had to give up my pride and ask for help, which was tough for me," he added. Munawar collected the money and returned it within three hours, but the experience humbled him.


Munawar further shared how he collected money during that difficult time. He said, "I went to mumbai Central, collected the money, and returned within three hours. Though I was relieved, I couldn't smile, because it wasn't my money." The comedian added, "After that day, I decided that I would never be financially short again."


Munawar recently got married to Mahjabeen Kotwala. He has often been seen speaking openly about his personal life, including his six-year-old son Mikail from his previous marriage to Jasmin. The comedian first spoke about his son on kangana Ranaut's tv reality show Lock Up and often shares pictures with him on social media.
