Sikandar: salman Khan's film became a noose around the neck for the makers, after low collection now there was a huge loss

Sikandar Piracy Loss: The film 'Sikandar' has now become a noose around the neck of the makers. Yes, the film already performed poorly at the box office and now the makers have suffered huge losses in another case.

Salman Khan's much-talked-about film 'Sikandar' may have earned well at the box office, but now the reports that have come out clearly show the lines of worry on the forehead of the makers. After a recent audit, it has been revealed that the makers have suffered huge losses due to the piracy of the film.

The film 'Sikandar' was released on the occasion of Eid 2025 and received mixed reactions from the audience. Although the film earned Rs 110 crore in india and Rs 184 crore worldwide, the real shock came when its pirated version was leaked on the Internet within a few hours of the film's release.

According to sources, this big case of piracy was investigated by a reputed auditing company like Ernst & Young. This investigation revealed that the film suffered a loss of about Rs 91 crore due to piracy.

The special thing was that the leaked version also included many scenes that were not released in theaters. These included some emotional scenes, background scores, and sequences related to the development of some characters, which the audience did not get to see in the official release. In one scene, there was a mention of Sikandar's wife's dream of becoming a lawyer, while in another scene medical students meet Sikandar in Dharavi. If reports related to the industry are to be believed, the film was leaked only after getting approval from the CBFC, due to which the needle of suspicion is also turning towards some insiders.

Now the makers are in the process of making insurance claims to compensate for this huge loss. It is being told that the film was already insured for a large amount so that any such accidental loss could be compensated.

Rashmika Mandanna also played the lead role in the film along with Salman Khan. This film full of action and drama was initially seen to have a tremendous craze, but later its story and screenplay received mixed responses from the audience and critics.

Just a few weeks after the release of the film, news of its piracy started coming out, but by then the damage had been done. Now this matter has not only created a big financial crisis in front of the makers but has also once again raised questions on the seriousness of piracy in the industry.
