On July 26, 1999, after a three-month war in Kargil, Ladakh, indian soldiers won over Pakistan. Since then, every year this day is celebrated as Kargil Vijay Diwas. On this special day, many Bollywood celebs from akshay kumar to siddharth Malhotra have posted on their social media handles and paid tribute to the brave armed forces of the country and remembered their sacrifice.

Bollywood's khiladi Kumar i.e., akshay kumar, wrote on his instagram account and story, "Tribute to all the heroes who gave us this freedom and peace, it is a feeling of pride." He wrote the message in hindi and wrote "Jai Hind" at the end.
Sidharth Malhotra remembers the sacrifice of the Kargil heroes
