Veteran bollywood actor sanjay dutt recently appeared on ‘The Great indian Kapil Show’ along with his close friend Suniel Shetty.


During the conversation, he shared unknown stories about his personal life and experiences from jail.


The actor revealed that he used to earn money inside the jail by performing different tasks.

Sanjay Dutt mentioned that he was paid a salary for doing various kinds of work.


Radio Show: He ran his own radio program for the prisoners.


Drama Company: He started a drama group inside the jail, worked as its director, and staged plays with fellow inmates.


Script Writing: Dutt wrote scripts together with prisoners, especially those involved in the drama company.


Handicraft Work: He also earned a living by making chairs and paper bags inside the prison.

While talking about the drama group, Dutt said:


“I had started a drama company in jail.”


“I was the director, and murder convicts performed with me.”


“I used to write the scripts with the prisoners, and we presented plays inside the jail.”



Difficult Phase of His Life


Sanjay Dutt’s jail term was connected to the 1993 mumbai bomb blasts case.


His name appeared in cases under the Arms Act, leading him to spend several years behind bars.


In total, Dutt served around five years in prison, which he described as the most challenging phase of his life.



Current Work


On the work front, Sanjay Dutt was recently seen in ‘Baaghi 4’, where he played the role of a villain.


Despite his troubled past, the actor continues to stay active in the film industry and enjoys strong fan support.
