Kajol on Embracing Every Film in Her Career – Hit or Flop
Proud of Every Film – success or Failure
Kajol, a leading actress in Bollywood, recently shared her thoughts on her film career while promoting Season 2 of her series ‘The Trial’.
She firmly stated, “I am the owner of every film of mine, whether it is a hit or a flop.”
From superhits like ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ and ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ to lesser-performing films like ‘Gundaraj’ and ‘Hulchul’, kajol says she embraces them all.
No Regrets About Her Career
Kajol began her acting journey in 1992 with the film ‘Bekhudi’.
Speaking to PTI, she expressed, “I wouldn’t want to change anything in my career.”
Even for films that didn’t perform well at the box office, kajol remains proud.
She said, “Each of my films taught me something. I’ve given 100% every time. I’ve never cheated in front of the camera.”
Hit or Flop, Every Film is a Lesson
In 1995, Kajol gave multiple blockbusters like ‘Karan Arjun’ and ‘DDLJ’, but also had flops like ‘Taaqat’ and ‘Gundaraj’.
Her takeaway? “Some films may not succeed commercially, but they still offer valuable lessons.”
Grateful for 30 Years in the Industry
Reflecting on her long career, kajol shared,
“I’m still relevant, and I consider it a blessing.”
She appreciates the audience’s continued love, saying, “I lived my life in front of the camera – I fell, rose, got married, became a mother – and people still love me.”
