Aamir Khan, last seen in Sitare Zameen Par, is now gearing up for a new and ambitious projectâa biopic on dadasaheb phalke, the father of indian cinema. The film will be directed by Rajkumar Hirani, marking their third collaboration after 3 Idiots and PK.

The pre-production work for the film will begin in october 2025.
Shooting is scheduled to start in january 2026.
