People of India can never forget the deadly terror strike by Pak sponsored terrorists at Uri army base in Jammu and Kashmir. Public anger grew at alarming proportions calling for immediate retaliatory strikes. PM Modi his busy holding war room discussions and also with his cabinet ministers formulating multi pronged strategies to launch massive diplomatic, economic and military offensive simultaneously.
Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif continued with his K Rant at UN general assembly and then in his meeting with UN Secretary General by submitting a dossier on Kashmir. However he was cold shouldered and India launched blistering attack on Kashmir for hailing Hizbul commaner Burhan Wani as leader and supporting terrorists.
European Union warned Pakistan over Balochistan issue and threatened to impose sanctions with US legislators brought in bill to declare Pakistan as terror state. India is planning to comeout of Indus water treaty.
Sometime back rumours spread that Pak is mobolising army towards the border and also shut down air traffic and flew in F 16s. Pak army chief dared India that they have already identified targets in India. Now unconfirmed reports say India already avenged the death of 18 soldiers in Uri.
In a spine chilling narrative two units of the elite 2 Paras comprising 18-20 soldiers flew across the LoC in the Uri sector in military helicopters and carried out an operation that killed at least 20 suspected terrorists across three terror camps in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK).
It is coming out that the total casualties could be as high as 200. This was confirmed by two other independent sources and inside talk is the operation happened during the intervening hours of 20 September and 21 September.
Indications that the Indian Special Forces struck across LoC came in the form of Pakistan declaring a no-fly zone over PoK on 20 September night.
Pakistan’s national flag carrier, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), had cancelled flights to northern Pakistani cities, including to Gilgit and Skardu in PoK, due to “airspace restrictions”.
PIA called off flights to Gilgit and Skardu in Gilgit-Baltistan region in PoK and Chitral in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province. This deadly strike happened even before Nawaz Sharif addressed UN General Assembly, and he had discussion with Army Chief Raheel Sharif where they discussed about the raid.
Right after this news, many expressed anger on spreading false information. Former Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah who has been criticising the Union Government and J & K government came with flurry of tweets along with others.
