Well according to a brief analysis, 10 out of 18 ministers in TRS Cabinet including Chief Minister KCR are from Telugu Desam Party that strongly opposed Telangana State formation in the past.
In addition to KCR who had served in the past in Chandrababu Naidu cabinet, others ministers who had defected from the TDP are Kadiam Srihari, Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Naini Narasimha Reddy, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, P Mahender Reddy.
The list also comprises of Tummala Nageshwara Rao, Jogu Ramanna, Dr Lakshma Reddy and Ajmeera Chandulal. A majority of them had worked as ministers in the TDP when the party was at its peak popularity in the region of TS when AP was united.
Recently, the minister who was shunted out was a Congress MLA in the past and now he has been shown the door. This shows that KCR is more or less relying on TDP leaders itself. How this strategy is going to fetch results is something we will know in the coming time.
