Jaganmohan reddy did not yield to any pressure for change in the matter of reorganization of districts. kadapa district is divided into two. The newly formed district was named annamayya District.

These include Rajampeta, Railwaykoduru, Rayachoti, Thambalpally, madanapalle and Peeru constituencies. The government has confirmed the Rayachoti constituency as the district headquarters.

Large-scale protests took place in Rajampeta, Rayachoti and Koduru constituencies in this regard.

They demanded that the district headquarters be shifted to rajampet instead of Rayachoti. Large-scale rallies and protests took place under the auspices of all party leaders.

It is important to note here that the concerns and bonds were led by ycp MLAs Mehda Mallikarjunareddy, Korumutla srinivas and others. The rajampet Municipal Vice Chairman also resigned from his post against the government’s decision.

Nana also lamented that the ycp would lose in three constituencies in the coming elections if the government does not shift the district headquarters from Rayachoti to rajampet as per their demands.

Nana said the party would be severely affected as it would have an impact on the kadapa district as well. jagan himself did not care if the ruling party MLAs and leaders themselves led the all-party agitation.

The MLAs did not care if jagan made joint appeals as per the public opinion in the field. Moreover, under rajampet MP mithun reddy, the MLAs met jagan twice a day to no avail. Does that mean jagan thinks there is no rationality in the demand for MLAs?

Otherwise, did jagan think what the MLAs said was untrue? That does not make sense. However, it is understood that jagan did not heed not only the demands of the opposition MLAs but also the demands of his own party MLAs. And it is interesting to see what the consequences will be in the coming elections.
