MAA (Movie Artists Association), the top body of the Telugu film industry, had declared on Sunday that the controversial aspiring actress Sri Reddy will not be given a membership, after the actress created ruckus by stripping herself before the Hyderabad Film chamber office.
MAA office bearer Sivaji Raja had revealed that Sri Reddy will not be given the membership due to her behavior. Sivaji also revealed that, earlier Sri Reddy was given the membership form, but since she did not fill up the form properly, she couldn't enroll herself with MAA.
The actress had created a huge drama and panic
around the film chamber, as she neared the location, and began stripping
herself much to the shock of people present around, and started to stage a
protest against the association, citing that Telugu artists weren't given fair
opportunities. While she claimed that her membership wasn't approved, the MAA
said that Telugu artists have been receiving enough offers in a fair manner.
Sri Reddy was charged under obscene acts in public, of the IPC.
