It was YSR and not Chandrababu who could be termed as the real promoter of Hydeabad as the IT destination of the country .That is the finding of the NASSCOM and Ernst and Young consultancy agencies that Naidu policy had several loopholes and was not concurred by centre .
Thanks to the team of efficient officers under YSR like MGVK Bhanu and Subramaniam that the centre was convinced of the Hyderabad advantage and necessary changtes in the policy were made to suit both the industry, employment generation goals and also the youth of the state , says the NASSCOM and E & Y. Hence it was no wonder that instead of just 100 odd IT companies , during YSR regime, the IT industry splurged with TCS, Dell, Oracle and UBS etc entering Hyderbad in a big way bigger than the Miscrosoft. 'If the Chandrababu Naidu policy was followed, IT industry would have permanantly fled to Bangalore or Pune ' says a fomer IT secretary of the state.

Naidu reiterating his claim again and again is out of his fear that people would find out the truth and his credit would go un noticed in history of the state .Incidentally a document released by the National Informatics Centre on the IT promotion for two tier and three tier towns in the country has listed Hyderabad but not Chandrababu ��
