It looks like the Telangana CM KCR has found his first nemesis. Namasthe Telangana, an exclusive newspaper dedicated for championing the cause of separate statehood struggle was instrumental in mobilizing public opinion.
First when KCR’s family operated this paper, it was in losses and then on KCR’s request, a rich Brahmin, Rajam took over and he brought more fame and money to the media group. However, trouble has brewed between both.
News is coming from inside sources that humiliated with this, Rajam joined BJP in the presence of BJP chief and Home Minister Rajnath Singh in Delhi and now it has to be seen whether it will be KCR vs Namasthe Telangana.
The political analysts say this is a very costly mistake from KCR because Namaste Telangana grew to become the Eenadu of the Telangana region. Among the many media houses, it has developed its own strong base of readership but now things are going to change.
