TDP had won 4 Municipal Corporations (Mydukur, Proddutur, Badwel and Jammalamadugu) out of 7 existing in Kadapa district. YSRCP won rest of the three Municipalities like Pulivendula, Rayachoti and Errakontla. It seems that situation has changed in both Rayachoti and Errakontla Municipalities after TDP come to the power in the general elections. The reason behind is that majority of YSRCP councilors looking towards TDP.
YSRCP won 18 out of 20 Wards in Errakontla Municipality and TDP bags just two wards. On Wednesday, 8 YSRCP members have reached to Hyderabad along with other two TDP members. TDP needs just support of one ward member to capture Errakontla Municipality. YSRCP shocked and alert the leaders and cadre not to leave any other ward member. YSRCP local leaders are watching at the houses of other ward members.
Reportedly, Jammalamadugu MLA Adinarayana Reddy men are there in among the 8 councilors. TDP is confident to win Errakontla Municipality too at the time of electing the Chairman. YSRCP is trying to protect remaining 10 ward members in Errakontla camp. They doubted on moments of Adinarayana Reddy. As per the officials that there is no disqualification on them if more than 50% members joined in TDP. TDP leaders are also in touch with other 10 YSRCP ward members.
