Enforcement Directorate's action is based on a complaint that Vijaya Baskar did not pay after purchasing gold.



Anti-corruption officials are investigating five more places owned by former minister Vijayabaskar. 



The number of test sites has now risen to 48, from 43 already tested. This has come as a shock to AIADMK and Vijayabaskar supporters. 



Former tamil Nadu health minister and sitting mla Dr. Vijaya bhaskar is being questioned by the Enforcement in Kochi. There is a vigilance case against Vijaya bhaskar for the illegal acquisition of property. 


Vijayabhaskar, who had registered with a case by the complaint of a jewelry owner in Kerala, was directed to appear. According to this, Vijay bhaskar, who is also an mla, appeared for questioning. 



Anti-corruption officials have been conducting raids on former AIADMK minister Vijayabaskar's house and premises following complaints against him for amassing wealth in excess of his income. 



Similarly, the tamil Nadu Anti-Corruption police have registered a case against Vijayabaskar and his wife at the Pudukottai police station.



The Anti-Corruption Department has registered an FIR against Vijayabaskar and his wife. 


 




At present, the number has increased to 48 seats. According to the Anti-Bribery police, further raids are being carried out at 1 place in Chennai, 2 places in Madurai, 1 place in Trichy and 1 place in Pudukkottai. 



This brings the total number of test sites to 48. The increase in the number of checkpoints, which was expected to end soon, has come as a shock to AIADMK and Vijayabaskar supporters. 



It is said that Vijayabaskar may have been trapped as the number of checkpoints increased.
