PM Awas Yojana: Housing for All!!!

More than two crore people got their houses
It is worth noting that the main objective of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is to provide houses to the economically backward people. Through this government scheme, till march 24, more than two crore people have got houses. The special thing is that these houses built under PM Awas Yojana also have toilet facilities and not only this, they also have electricity connection.
Under the Ujjwala scheme, another scheme of the Modi government, only LED bulbs are being given. At the same time, gas connection is also being made available under the Ujjwala Yojana (Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana). Apart from all these facilities, water connections are also available under the Har Ghar Jal Yojana, which is providing all-round facilities to the common man.
When was the scheme launched?
PM Awas Yojana Urban (PMAY-U) was started on 25 june 2015. It is noteworthy that the Ministry has also launched Affordable Rental Housing Complex (ARHC), which is a sub-scheme of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban.
It provides easily affordable rental homes to urban migrants or the poor in the industrial sector as well as the informal urban economy, near their workplace. In such a situation, according to your eligibility, you can easily get your house with the help of the government.
