PM Cares for Children scheme!!!
PM Modi will release scholarship and other facilities for children under the PM Cares for Children scheme today. On Sunday, PM Modi himself gave information about this by tweeting. He wrote – On May 30, at 10.30 pm, under PM CARES for children scheme, children will be handed over passbook and health card under Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.

What is this scheme?
This scheme has been made for the children who lost their parents during the Corona period. On 29 May 2021, prime minister Narendra Modi had announced the facility of education and medical insurance to such children under the PM Cares for Children scheme with an assistance of Rs 10 lakh will be given from the PM Cares Fund when the children turn 23 years old. A portal named pmcaresforchildren.in was launched for the registration of children.

Most applications from Maharashtra
According to the data shared by Union women and Child Development minister Smriti Irani, the maximum number of 1,158 applications were received from Maharashtra. After that 768 applications were received from Uttar Pradesh, 739 from Madhya Pradesh, 496 from tamil Nadu and 479 from Andhra Pradesh.
1. The government will give a monthly stipend till the age of 18 years to the children who lose their parents due to corona.
2. Free education will be given to these children by the central government.
3. These children will get health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh for 18 years under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
4. Insurance premium will be paid from PM Cares Fund.
5. Children below the age of ten years will be admitted to the nearest central school or private school.
