Govt announces complete ban on firecrackers... 


Before Diwali, the arvind kejriwal government of delhi has decided to ban firecrackers. Environment minister Gopal Rai tweeted about this decision of the delhi government. He tweeted that to save the people of delhi from the menace of pollution, like last year, this time also the production, storage, sale and use of all types of firecrackers are being completely banned, so that people's lives are saved. He said that this time there will also be a ban on online sale/delivery of firecrackers in Delhi. There will be strict restriction to implement the ban.


The delhi government has banned firecrackers till january 1 2023. This decision has been taken in view of the problem of pollution every year during the winter season.

Let us tell you that last year also the delhi government had imposed a complete ban on the sale and use of firecrackers in the national capital from 28 september to 1 january 2022. To create awareness against the pollution caused by burning of firecrackers, the city government had also started the campaign "Jalao firecrackers nahi diye". Action was taken against those using firecrackers under the provisions of the indian Penal Code and the Explosives Act.
