The pace of Covid infection has now stopped in the country. In the midst of decreasing cases, now the central government has taken a big decision. The central government has announced a big exemption for people during air Travel. The Ministry of Civil Aviation said on wednesday that it is not mandatory to wear a mask during air travel.
Till now, the use of masks was mandatory while travelling on flights. The ministry says that this decision has been taken in line with the government's policy of a graded approach to the Covid-19 management response.
The central government has said in its guideline, 'From now on in these flights, it can only be mentioned that in view of the danger of the Covid-19 epidemic, all passengers should give priority to wearing mask-face cover.'
How many active cases of Covid are there in the country?
According to government data, the number of patients under treatment for coronavirus infection in the country has come down to 7,561, which is 0.02 per cent of the total cases. At the same time, the national rate of recovery of patients is 98.79 per cent. So far, a total of 4,41,28,580 people have become infection free in the country, while the death rate from Covid-19 is 1.19 per cent.
