CM orders high alert to ensure law and order..!!!


Atique Ahmed, a former criminal turned politician, and his brother Ashraf were shot in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Only a few days had passed since the notorious gangster's son was slain in an encounter with UP police in Jhansi.  

The three attackers, Lovlesh Tewari, Sunny Singh, and Arun Maurya, have a history of criminal activity. Atiq ahmed and his brother Ashraf were shot dead at point-blank range on saturday night in Prayagraj by three people who had pretended to be journalists and joined a group of media personnel. The victims were talking to reporters at the time. According to their families, they are unrelated to them. The police are looking into the three shooters' backgrounds and criminal histories after they were instantly apprehended on the scene.

In a late-night meeting, the chief minister Yogi Adityanath gave the state police personnel orders to remain on high alert and make sure that law and order is maintained throughout the state.

Yogi Adityanath also pleaded with people not to believe misinformation regarding the tragedy. UP home secretary Sanjay Prasad, UP police director general of police (DGP) rk Vishwakarma, and other top officials were present at the meeting at the chief minister's residence.

Senior police officers gave the state police social media cell instructions to keep an eye on any online discussions on the Prayagraj tragedy and to take harsh action against anyone who does so.

The leader of the Samajwadi party (SP), Akhilesh Yadav, responded to the incident by saying, "Crime has reached its apex in Uttar Pradesh and the criminals are undeterred. What about public safety if someone can be shot and killed inside a police perimeter? Due to this, the general public is experiencing a climate of fear, which suggests that certain individuals are doing it on purpose.
