Even prime minister Narendra Modi went so far as to use Chandrashekhar Rao's name, along with the names of the gandhi family and others, to accuse them of engaging in dynasty politics while addressing at a political gathering in Bhopal. Modi has not previously mentioned Rao or the BRS outside of Telangana.
Even as it struggled to put out the flames of party factionalism, the congress attempted to charge the BRS of working closely with the BJP. Manik Rao Thakare, the telangana Congress' in-charge, said in delhi that the BRS was working only to harm the chances of the congress party in numerous States and even charged the chief minister of breaking pledges to the populace.
In response to the BRS chief's visit to his State, shiv sena chief minister Eknath Shinde of maharashtra said that the telangana chief minister should concentrate on his own State. It's interesting to note that although the police denied the BRS permission to drop flower petals from helicopters on the thousands of pilgrims arriving in Pandharpur, Shinde instructed the district government in Solapur to guarantee there were no political party or politician posters in Pandharpur.

Devendra Fadnavis, a spokesman for the bjp and the deputy chief minister of maharashtra, had responded to the Pandharpur visit on Monday, saying there should be no politics and that 'KCR' was welcome but only in the capacity of a devotee.
