BRS Working President and IT minister KT Rama Rao on thursday emphasized the continuity of good governance and cautioned that Telangana's current progress could not be taken for granted under any other party, exuding confidence that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi would be elected to power for the third time with 95 to 100 seats in the Assembly.

Many people believe that progress will occur regardless of whether the party is in power, but this is untrue. He questioned how past administrations could have failed to handle the state's electricity, water, and irrigation problems if such were the case. Speaking on thursday after officially opening the CREDAI Telangana's new office in this city's Financial District, the minister said that the BRS will also establish its power in other States and play a significant role in national politics.

"We'll demonstrate our power and demonstrate that Gujarat's leaders are not the only ones in charge. The BRS would also be important in national politics, he added, putting the onus on the opposition to provide a State that performs better than Telangana. He declared, "If they do that, I'm out of politics."

There were plots to overthrow the democratically elected government and portray telangana as a failed experiment in 2014, when the BRS (formerly TRS) had won 63 seats. Although the opposition parties lack clarity, the public does, and it will not want to lose a good administration that keeps its promises, he added, noting that there were many people who were eager to take office.

The supreme authority of telangana was held by chief minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao. But if any other party won the election, the scenario would be different. If the congress or bjp win the election, their leaders would have to wait for appointments from their party leadership in New Delhi, so forget about solving the concerns of the populace. They could grant certain appeals and deny others. Do we really require such an event? Rama Rao questioned, saying that people would see the dramatic gap in development between telangana and other States when they travelled to Maharashtra, Karnataka, and other States.

"In some States, a builder who has to erect a project of 5 lakh square feet must make per-square-foot payments to both the government and opposition parties. He also took a strong stance against people who criticised the State's indebtedness, asking, "Does that happen in Telangana? The wellbeing of the most vulnerable groups in society should be the primary goal of the government.

The government must put various programmes for the care of the poor into place to prevent scenarios where the gap between the affluent and the poor widens and civil unrest results. According to him, the State government has spent the loan proceeds in useful industries like irrigation, water, and power.

Boom Ahead for Hyderabad

Regarding the advancement of the State capital, he said that by september of this year, hyderabad will be the first city in the nation to guarantee complete sewage treatment. There would be an expansion in metro service from 71 km to 250 km. Shamshabad's Genome Valley would be enlarged. Tier II cities were receiving considerable expansion of the IT industry. According to him, 12,000 of the 50,000 IT positions that were intended to be provided in tier II cities have already been filled.

"We are also developing a new circular economy policy. This is to make sure that the treated water produced by STPs is used for landscaping, building development, and other uses', said Rama Rao, who also noted that Telangana's journey, particularly that of hyderabad, has just began.
