AP records in the number of girls..!?

AP has created a record for the number of girls. After kerala, andhra pradesh has the highest number of girls per thousand boys in the country. While boys have been the majority in ap for the past few decades, the number of girls has increased significantly since 2021. This has been revealed by the Union Ministry of Statistics in its latest report. The Center said that earlier in andhra pradesh there were only 977 girls for every 1000 boys. Now the number has increased to 1046 per 1000 boys, the report revealed.
Whereas kerala has the highest number of girls for every thousand boys in the country at 1114. kerala was followed by Andhra Pradesh. telangana has only 955 girls for every thousand boys. karnataka has 991 girls for every 1000 boys and tamil Nadu has 1026 girls. The report revealed that in ap, there are 1063 girls per 1000 people in urban areas and 1038 girls per 1000 people in rural areas.
According to the central report, the number of girls is increasing due to the well-implemented health programs in Andhra Pradesh. In the past, girls died before the age of six due to illness. But to prevent these situations from arising, the number of deaths has decreased due to regular medical check-ups and immunizations, providing nutritious food to pregnant women through Angan Wadi Centers. Besides, the state government is providing health services at the level of ysr health Clinics in the villages across the state. Also, 98 percent of births take place in hospitals, resulting in better outcomes. In this context, the central report said that all these are the reasons for the increase in the number of girls in Andhra Pradesh. While kerala and andhra pradesh stood at the top in the country, haryana was the lowest with only 887 girls for every 1000 boys. In India, on average, there are 968 girls for every 1,000 boys.
