The bharatiya janata party national leadership is said to have chosen to take the approaching elections seriously, in contrast to rumours that the party's high command is softening its stance towards the Bharat Rashtra Samithi administration in Telangana. The bjp national leadership designated senior party leader and former Union minister Prakash Javadekar as the party's election in-charge for telangana on Friday, a day before prime minister Narendra Modi's public rally in Warangal. Javadekar attended a few formal events before being named election in-charge.

In addition to overseeing the entire election process, Javadekar, who has visited telangana several times and has a thorough grasp of the state politics, will be essential in helping the party choose candidates for the next elections. sunil Bansal, the party's national general secretary, was appointed as Javadekar's assistant by bjp national president J P Nadda, who also issued an order to that effect. Additionally, Bansal is the State's in-charge.

This follows the party's recent massive reorganisation in telangana and three other States, during which new party presidents were appointed. According to sources, the prime minister would give the state bjp leaders instructions on how to conduct the elections during a meeting they will have before the public meeting in Warangal. In his public rally in warangal on Saturday, Modi would go all effort to expose kcr and his family, said recently appointed telangana bjp head and Union Tourism minister G Kishan Reddy. "He will attack the family rule and call KCR's bluff on the development in the state," the source continued.
