On monday, the indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in hyderabad issued a warning for severe to very heavy rains in many telangana districts on thursday and Friday. The IMD, hyderabad said in its forecast on monday that practically all the districts in the northern sections of telangana are predicted to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall in the upcoming few days, in contrast to hyderabad and its surrounding regions, which can expect moderate to heavy rain.

The IMD hyderabad forecast also predicted that heavy rains would fall in nearly all of Telangana's districts over the next 48 hours, including Hyderabad. On thursday and Friday, there will be heavy to very heavy rain in Telangana's northern districts, including Adilabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, bhadradri Kothagudem, and Mahabubabad.

The Met Centre has predicted that various locations in the State, including hyderabad, would also witness thunderstorms, lightning, and hailstorms in addition to the heavy downpour. "People are urged to seek refuge in pukka buildings rather than under trees. During this time, farming operations may be carried out while temporarily adhering to alerts. Avoid hiding under trees, especially lone ones, as they conduct electricity, warned IMD-Hyderabad in a monday caution.

across the meantime, rainfall across north telangana, including Nizamabad, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Bhupalapally, and Mulugu, worsened on monday evening because of a low pressure region. Sircilla, Siddipet, Warangal, Hanumakonda, and Bhupalapally districts among others also witnessed sporadic rainfall. With the exception of a few scattered showers, Hyderabad's weather remained cloudy and dry on Monday.
