A book written by the State government's ambitious "Mission Kakatiya" project's health minister, T. Harish Rao, sheds insight on the project's amazing achievement. Dr. Banoth Rajitha's book summarises the findings of substantial study done in the warangal area between 2015 and 2021. Rajitha, a research assistant in the sociology department at Kakatiya university (KU), warangal, gained recognition when KU granted her a PhD earlier this year for her thesis, "Mission Kakatiya and Rural Development: A Sociological Study in warangal District of telangana State."

Rajitha's study delved into the crucial topic of tank/pond siltation and its detrimental consequences on crop output. However, the research also showed that "Mission Kakatiya" has significantly increased agricultural production by stabilising an amazing 10 lakh acres of land throughout the state. At the book's launching event on sunday in Siddipet, the minister thanked Dr. rajitha for her efforts and commitment to the undertaking. Rajitha, who lives in the mulugu district's Papaiahpally hamlet, is notable for coming from a tribal family.

Her PhD thesis' incisive study shows that "Mission Kakatiya," a major initiative led by chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's inspiring vision, has significantly increased the income of small and marginal farmers in the State's agricultural sector. Given that a sizeable majority of India's population still lives in rural regions, she also recommended that comparable effective schemes be introduced countrywide to encourage sustainable growth in the agriculture sector.
