More than 4,000 women performed Haj without 'Mehram'..!?

PM narendra modi said that this year more than 4,000 indian women have completed Bina Mehram Haj Yatra. This journey is special in many ways and it is witnessing a lot of change. He said that this will enable more and more people to go for this religious pilgrimage every year. This is also possible because the central government has made many changes in the policies last few years. This is the highest number since 2018 as the government has abolished the requirement of a male companion for this pilgrimage. PM Modi mentioned this in his monthly program Mann Ki Baat. He said that indian Muslim women who had returned from their pilgrimage had written letters to him and thanked him for this change. PM Modi said that this is a big change and it is very special in many ways. PM said that this number is not limited to 50, 100 but this number has crossed 4,000. Earlier Muslim women could not go to حج پر without Mehram.
According to Shariah, if a woman goes on Hajj, she must be accompanied by a male guardian. This male patron may be a close relative. It simply means that a woman cannot go on pilgrimage with a stranger or a distant relative, acquaintance, or friend. Now the central government has removed this condition and a Muslim woman can go for Haj without Mehram. This is the reason why there has been an increase in the number of female pilgrims. saudi arabia has also removed this condition.
