Jammu Kashmir: mehbooba mufti said that the apex court and indian citizens have to see whether the country will run
according to the Constitution or "according to the divisive agenda of a particular party".

trial in the supreme Court. Talking to the media in the lawns of the apex court, the former chief minister of Jammu and
Kashmir said that the matter being heard by the supreme court is related to the people of India. He said, “This country
cannot be run on majoritarianism. This country will run according to the Constitution. He also said that the issue of
abrogation of article 370 is related to the promise made to the people of india and the original inhabitants of kashmir in
1947.
Mufti said, “We know what has happened to the institutions of the country. Luckily we still have some faith in the Supreme
Court of this country. I want to appeal to them that the country believes in the principle of Raghukul Rit Sadaa Chali Aayee,
Pran Jaye Par Vachan Na Jaye.”
