Governor tamilisai soundararajan has opined that government hospitals and government schools should benefit the common people. Lt. governor tamilisai soundararajan, who regularly visits puducherry government schools, visited Alankuppam government Primary school and government High school today. Discussed with students in school. He also observed the smart classroom along with the students. He appreciated the students who staged an awareness play on dengue mosquito eradication. He also served the midday meal kept for the students. Speaking to the media following this, the Deputy governor said that when students create awareness about dengue mosquito eradication, it will reach the people well.

Above all, today is a happy day for women. It has been decided in the cabinet meeting held yesterday under the leadership of the prime minister of india to provide 33% reservation for women in public life, which should be recognized in India.

Many women are helping to come to public life. He said that it would be very helpful for society to benefit and prosper through women. Continuing, 75 years after independence, if the 33% reservation for women, who constitute nearly 50% of the electorate, is implemented, 11 legislators in puducherry state and 77 legislators in tamil Nadu will be women.

There will be 13 women MPs in tamil Nadu. This is a huge opportunity. I thank the prime minister of india for that. I am working as a lieutenant governor to serve the people sincerely. Regarding women's scholarship, I am just saying on the basis of the files that come to me and the information that I get from the authorities. There is no need to resign for that. I am doing people's work as a governor. A project has been started with good intentions. It is being implemented.

It is started by elected members of the assembly. It should be appreciated. I am visiting with the objective of visiting 75 schools starting during the 75th year of independence celebrations. Then I saw the knowledge of government school students. We have got 10% reservation in medical education for students studying in government schools because we have tried very hard to do something for those school children.
