The Taliban regime, this fundamentalist Islamic government, usually draws attention in the media for its dangerous and unorthodox activities. Especially since coming to power in afghanistan following the withdrawal of US forces, the Taliban have not only barred women from access to education and employment, but have also implemented harsh policies that curtail freedom of movement, free speech and business activities. A vlogger from Kerala, Mohammad Yaseen, has come under scrutiny for posting a video that has now gone viral on social media, glorifying the Taliban and showing off their weapons to his viewers. Notably, Yaseen traveled to Taliban-controlled afghanistan to make this video. In the released video, he can be seen appreciating the tactics used by the Taliban. Yaseen has published numerous videos on his channel Yaseen Vlogs. In it he praises the extremist Islamic regime of the Taliban.


Mohammad Yaseen's video showing the weapons used by the Taliban has already garnered 1,41,000 views. In the video, he mentioned that he was in the company of the Taliban in Mazar-e-Sharif. When he took this video, he said that the Taliban were giving him good hospitality. And in the video, he even showed people machine guns from America, russia and Turkey. Holding AK-47 and MK 4 rifles in both hands, he confirmed his link with the Taliban and expressed his fearlessness in the video.
