In details.. tdp National General Secretary nara lokesh approached the ap high court for anticipatory bail in the amaravati Inner Ring Road Alignment Scam case. Lawyers filed this petition on Lokesh's behalf as he is currently in Delhi. ap CID officials named lokesh as A14 in this case. The previous tdp government took up the Inner Ring Road (IRR) project in amaravati connecting all the roads in the capital.
However, there are allegations of irregularities on the amaravati Inner Ring Road. ap CID has started investigation on the complaint of ycp MLA alla ramakrishna reddy (RK). As part of the investigation, the CID registered a case under various sections of the IPC and Prevention of Corruption Act in april last year. CID has identified chandrababu naidu as the prime accused in the Inner Ring Road illegal alignment case. CID has already named Chandrababu as A-1 and Narayana as A-2 in this case and filed a separate memo in the acb court in vijayawada naming nara lokesh as A-14.
The CID alleged that lokesh tried to profit from the changes made in the alignment of the Inner Ring Road. The probe concluded that lokesh played a key role in the Inner Ring Road scam during his father's tenure as chief minister and involved in irregularities related to land acquisition for heritage foods through alignment process. ap CID has included Chandrababu, Narayana, lokesh, Lingamaneni Ramesh, Rajasekhar and heritage foods as accused in this case. But Narayana has already got anticipatory bail in this case.
