official said that the cabinet will discuss the deaths in Nanded Hospital in this meeting. Not only this, the cabinet

meeting can also decide on forming an inquiry committee regarding this incident.


While giving information, Superintendent of Nanded government Hospital, SR Wakode, said that in the

government Dr. Shankarrao Chavan government Medical college and Hospital of Nanded city, 24 patients,

including 12 infants, died in 24 hours between september 30 and october 1. He said that from 12 am on

september 30 to 12 am on october 1, there were 24 deaths, which included 12 newborns. There are 142 children

admitted in the pediatric department of the hospital, out of which the condition of 42 newborns is critical. He

told that there is no shortage of medicines or doctors. They (the deceased) were given every possible treatment,

but each patient reacts differently to the treatment given.

Opposition attacks state government

Let us tell you that a total of 24 deaths occurred during the 24-hour period from 12 noon on september 30 to 12

noon on october 1. These include 12 adults and 12 children. Seven more patients died in the 24 hours from 12

midnight on october 1 to 12 midnight on october 2. Of these seven patients, 4 are children. One thing to note is

that 10-12 deaths occur every day in this government hospital, for which there are different reasons. On the

Nanded incident, maharashtra Government's Medical education Minister Hasan Mushrif said, The number of

small children was 4-5. I was told that there was no shortage of medicines and doctors, despite this we will take
