Telangana's full voter list for the impending 2023 elections has been made public, showing 3,17,17,389 registered voters in 119 assembly districts. This is a notable increase of 5.8% compared to january of this year. The recruitment of 5,32,990 new youth voters in the 18–19 age range, or 2.56 percent of the entire voter population, is a noteworthy campaign accomplishment.

The final electoral roll, which the Chief Electoral Officer issued on Wednesday, shows a balanced gender ratio with 1,58,71,493 male voters, 1,58,43,339 female voters, and 2,557 transgender voters. Additionally, there are 2,780 abroad voters and 15,338 service electors who are entitled to vote. Several significant modifications have been noticed during the thorough process leading up to this list. In addition to 6,10,694 deletions and 5,80,208 repairs of entries, a total of 17,01,087 new voter registrations were entered, ensuring that the voter list is current and accurate.

There are currently 998 females on the list for every 1,000 males, an improvement in the gender ratio. 7,07,743 voters on the list are over the age of 18, demonstrating the strong engagement of young people in the political process. 5,06,493 people with disabilities and an additional 43,943 voters above the age of 80 have been counted.

It is encouraged that eligible voters who were unable to register earlier add their names to the list. Through the "eci.gov.in" website or the Voter Help Line App (VHA), voters may readily get facts about their voting places. Voters can use Form 8 through the VHA app or their local BLO (Booth Level Officer) to request adjustments in the event that there are any anomalies in the enrolment information.

Telangana has made significant efforts to purge the voter list over the past two years, resulting in the elimination of 22,02,168 people for reasons including death, duplications, and transfers. The most recent programme also included address correction, guaranteeing the accuracy of house numbering, and physically verifying voters in houses with more than six occupants.
