The wife of the company's former chairman mukesh Vatamal "Mickey" Jagthiani, whose husband passed away earlier this May, is on the list. He was ranked 511 on Forbes' 37th annual list of the world's billionaires earlier this year.


Renuka Jagthiani has been leading the company's corporate strategy and expansion into new markets for over two decades. He oversees more than 50,000 employees as the company's president. She was ranked 96th in forbes 2021 list of the world's most powerful women.

At number 100 in India's 100 Richest List for 2023 is the family of KP Ramasamy, chairman of KPR Mills, a textile and sugar manufacturer. The KP Ramaswamy family has entered the rich list with a net worth of $2.3 billion. KPR Mills, Coimbatore, manufactures knitted garments, cotton and polyester yarns with sugar and ethanol. The company also manufactures men's underwear under the Faso brand launched in 2019. KPR expanded into sugar manufacturing in 2013. Established in 1984, the company produces 128 million garments every year. Also retails to global companies such as H&M, Marks & Spencer and Walmart.
