Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange on monday (November 13)  had accused bharatiya janata party (BJP)

workers of tearing down a banner put up by maratha supporters outside a village to prevent the entry of political

leaders. Clashes broke out in Boregaon Jahangir village of Bhokardan tehsil of Jalna district on Sunday

(November 12) when bjp workers allegedly tore down banners put up by supporters of maratha reservation to

restrict entry of political leaders into the village. .

Bhokardan tehsil is the home town of bjp leader and Union minister Raosaheb Danve. Speaking to the media

after reaching Antarwali Sarati village, Manoj Jarange said,  If they tear our posters, we will tear their clothes."

But I have asked the supporters to maintain peace and maintain restraint. Manoj Jarange has been discharged

after being admitted to a hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar for 12 days. During this, Manoj Jarange said that

he has asked to remove the ban on the entry of leaders in the villages, because the state government has asked for

two months time to resolve the reservation issue.

If they tear the banner, we will tear their clothes

Manoj Jarange said that ultimately the decision regarding lifting of restrictions has to be taken by the villages and

he supports their decision. He said, “I will not go against the community. If they tear the banner, we will tear their

clothes. The maratha community has made him a big (political leader), but he has done nothing for the

community. Why are they coming to our villages? Manoj Jarange expressed satisfaction over the state

government’s move to issue Kunbi caste certificates to Marathas.
